It's getting tempting to start wearing a personal bodycam when dealing with the immigration or police and other BiB's.

Dash cam in car I can turn to drivers window, and face my car on home visit park the car facing the house, IO have CTV.

How are they completely untenable? Many here never use agents or pay bribes. That makes no sense to me when you only need 65k a month, anyway it's your money if you want to waste it on an agent then do it.

The ones who do not use agents or pay bribes are the ones who have 800 K to park in a sleazy Thai bank account which pays almost no interest. If I had the money, I might consider it. I don’t see much difference between a bribe and the “sweetheart deal” between Immigration and Thai banks.

I leave 400k in the bank year round on a fixed deposit and it rolls over every year, it's been there for years. That's my Immigration money. If I didn't put it in a fixed deposit I'd get a lower rate, for me that fix is the best I can safely get so there's no deal between banks and Immi., it's my investment choice.

That’s a nice deal if you HAVE 400 K.   I have a monthly income from Social Security, A Teacher's Pension and a smal TIAA annuity. I simply don’t have large amounts of liquid cash to park in a crummy Thai bank that offers almost no interest.  If you have liquid cash for investment purposes, I am happy for you. but that arrangement was not the norm when I moved here in 2015. I was told that I needed to have 65 thousand baht monthly income and that it didn’t make any difference WHERE the money was kept. They changed the rules and I was not “grandfathered” into the new arrangement. That is why I have to use an agent if I want to live here. If they push much more, I will simply move to Cambodia where the rules are simple and cheap.

I dont believe that, which ones, please?

You are free to believe or disbelieve me. Up to you.

So not true about the "many times" and "many offices", then.  If it is true, what's the harm in being specific?
