New Zealander Dies In Fall From Kanchanaburi Train

A TOURIST from New Zealand slipped and fell from the train that had slowed down for passengers to take photos at Kanchanaburi’s Krasae Cave which was the camp of POWs in World War II, Naewna newspaper said today (Dec. 27).

Agriculture Department to Promote Gelatinous Coconut Cultivation

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Department of Agriculture has announced plans to promote the cultivation of "gelatinous coconuts," citing increasing demand for the fruit, which can fetch up to 60-100 baht per coconut when sold domestically.
