That's absolutely hilarious, do they really think every day Thai citizens believe this steaming pile of BS?? The Thai police have to be one of the biggest brotherhoods of criminal organizations on the planet and the best thing about them is they're so stupid they don't even realize they're not fooling a soul....

These sudden street inspections are nothing new. They do it as a PR stunt for the cops .  Concerned citizens are worried? These so called citizens are not from Pattaya but they make a good living selling goods and services to Isan/korat Thais who work in the massive bar prostitution industry in Pattaya. There will be 30,000 hookers  there by late this year.

The police could have had an early night. Illegal or otherwise, prostitutes as obvious anyone would know, are around Beach Road and bars in Pattaya from lunch time onwards. 

My experience is limited in Pattaya, having only visited there a few times and staying in accommodation but how people who are trained to observe such things and not see them is a little baffling. 

No suspected prostitutes. All positively confirmed.

There is actually a school for these fool they practice in front of a mirror lying holding their own laugher. 

Luckily, I had just got my take out on WS ????

The article does not say that there are no prostitutes in Pattaya. It just says that no prostitutes were "found" by the police during their inspection tour. And if you try hard enough not to find something, you won't find it. So technically, and in their own minds, they are not lying. Problem solved - the Thai way.

This is great news, thank you Pol. Lt. Col.Pichaya Kheawpluang. head of the local Comedy Store, he also declared that their were no Munchkins in the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Not a concerned citizen to be seen anywhere he added.

Good catch on the subtle nuance of Thailands' social policing where prostitution isn't openly being conducted. There's no pimps and there's no ho's.

 

However, solicitation is a completely different bowl of somtam but that's not what Pattaya's finest were looking for.

Everybody knows there is no prostitution in Pattaya. Droves upon droves of male tourists flocking to the place like ants to a pile of sugar can attest to this very well known fact. They are only there to visit the beautiful and pristine beaches, fly around in a parachute, visit the fake floating water market, go to various water parks and visit the temples, these are all unique to Pattaya and that's the only reason so many single men visit Pattaya.
