    80. 8-0. Hope there’s enough immigration officers left for Chaeng Wattana and Suvarnabhumi after Big Joke is finished with them !  They should continue to go after the wife of the main perpe

It always amazes me when people spend several times the effort penning such a question when all I do is hold my finger over the word ,select look up and hey presto ,in 2 seconds I know ! ????‍♂️

but your a mr know it all I guess .....  haha

Now I know why the Immigration Officer was so grumpy today. I was extending my permission of stay for another year in Ubon Ratchathani. The last years it was quite easy. This time he wanted copies of all my passport pages since my first Non Immi Visa and opposite to before he was angry like hell.

I assume the worry that they get checked about the connection to agents to0.

....... so 80 (officially at least) face the music - lets wait and see. I - for one - feel like a complete idiot being reprimanded for a much bigger offense. I had to sign a photocopy - at the desk of an immigration officer - which I did. She made me getting a new photocopy as me fool signed with a black ballpen which I was given by the very same officer ???? Really made a difference in granting me a "re-entry permit" for THB 3'800 a pop.

Thai immigration is certainly among the most complicated structures I ever came across and beats most former communist states by far. Grant visas overseas or let them in on a 30/45 days; your call. The local offices should be involved for extensions of stay, be it work, holiday or retirement related. Those seekers present a health insurance and a third party liability insurance. A yearly visa fee of nominal THB 10'000 which automatically serves as a multiple re-entry permit. Forget the 90-days joke, the TM30 procedure (which many Thai landlord flatly refuse to adhere to).

This would pour billions of Baht into the state's coffers and could be managed with 10% - 15% of the present arrogant, insecure and incompetent work force gracing all those immigration offices. But then nepotism and patronizing would be no longer (or lesser) possible ..... your call!

For once, a decent policeman does good, and a lot of you wingers start off. Is he perfect, probably not, who is ? It’s not him who’s going to press charges  on these 80 officials, it’s the anti corruption committee, Mr Surachat is leading the investigations . Please tell me what’s wrong ?  Who wants to be overrun by Chinese ( or other nationals)  crooks, drugs , gambling, under age prostitution, illegal casinos and clubs , boiler room set ups, online scams , by the sounds of it lots of you don’t care.  Do you really bother about newspaper photos of him , if so, why.

This has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with policing or immigration.

This is a political strategy to try and discredit the Chinese in Bangkok because of their close affiliation with Prayuth and his cronies.

Scratch below the surface here and you will see Taksins fingerprints.

Bravo Bravo!   A pure realise who understand how things really work in the real world of Thailand, especially with big joke I hope his fans wake up and read your remarks!  In the end the joke are on them.

There are countless naive folks who actually believe the biggest joke is real, and he is actually a crime fighter. What can one say? There are always some who buy the nonsense of a self aggrandizing huckster, and a police force in dramatic need to some good PR. Anyone else come to mind?
