Anybody have experience of getting a stair lift fitted in Pattaya? Not interested in through floor lifts! Just the ones that ride up existing stairs. Companies that fit them and approximate cost would be helpful. We have the usual double flight stair so it would need to go round 3 corners at bottom mezzanine and top. Wife just wants to move my bed to the ground floor but I see that as one step closer to the temple!

I'm with your wife. Enough w/ the stairway drama. Time to embrace the whole temple concept: pre-planning ensures a bang-up ceremony, better monks, flowers; then you got Pattaya Bay to look forward to. Now I dunno if Wat Chai still offers those niches in the wall in the back for your ashes and photo, but those are cool. More visitors there, possibly. Maybe your wife has a personal chedi planned for you somewhere?
