Prospective staffer files complaint accusing George Santos of sexual harassment

A former prospective staffer to Rep. George Santos said he filed a police report and House ethics complaint alleging that the freshman congressman made an unwanted sexual advance toward him during a private encounter in his office and was later denied employment there.

 

The individual, Derek Myers, alleges that Santos on January 25 “touched” his groin before the New York congressman allegedly invited him to his home and said his husband was out of town, according to a copy of the House ethics complaint provided to CNN.

 

Myers says he declined the alleged advance and promptly left Santos’ office.

I hear George has water tight alibi , he was flying a fighter and shooting down a Chinese balloon at the time of the alleged harassment.

Who didn't see that eventually happening.   Santos been caught and admitting lying so many times, impossible to defend himself.   That's an easy win & payday.

 

In a way, kind of hope it's true and not just a money grab, though don't know which is a better scenario ... ????

Yet another element to the Santos legend, and yet another same-sex harassment scandal in the GOP.  Less than a year since the Madison Cawthorn stuff ("hey, check it out, it looks like he's sucking my ____, ain't that funny?").

Conservative/MAGA media seems to be playing this one down, though

For those who don't know him, Matt Schlapp is a GOP "dirty fighter," in the same league as Roger Stone.

Kind of funny in that the Dems have no problem with the same-sex thing but have a strong stance against sexual assault. 

The conservatives can't abide with the "abomination in the eyes of god" stuff but when it comes to sexual harassment by one of their own it's "aw c'mon, it was just a joke."
