I'm applying for my first retirement visa - and have read everything relevant (that I can find) in the visa section of this forum - but am curious if there are any special requirements or problems that come up in Phuket?

I will be able to demonstrate monthly income over the required minimum and will also have about B250,000 in the bank.

Hi Ramon88 Welcome to Thai Visa - It used to be 800, 000 in the bank for 3 months before you apply but I think now if you can show monthly income they group the two together. My only advise would be to go to immigration at 8:30 am to avoid the rush. The staff there are generally in a good mood first thing in the morning. I went recently at that time and was processed rapidly and with good humour. Oh and don't forget to photocopy everything twice :o

I've not seen any requirement for a medical form - not required?
