chakeeoyen Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Does it remain valid? Also, is it possible to keep a work permit valid for one year on a Non Immi Multi 'O'?
Hummin Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 No, you need to cancel your work visa before a new visa is given.
ubonjoe Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 If married to or the parent of a Thai you can work and have a work permit with a non-o visa or a one year extension of stay. 1

My visa would be based on marriage. In that case would I have to cancel my work permit regardless?
SuperSilverHaze Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I have an O visa extension based on marriage. This is done in December and stamped mid January for the following year. My wp is renewed annually in March. Recently, changed passports. Notified employer but not MOE. New contract May unless I retire... Hope that helps 1
