Surat Thani – Surat Thani tourism which includes Samui, Phangan, and Tao (Turtle) Islands has reached the highest growth in the country with tourism revenue increasing 900 percent from a 600 percent increase of tourists year over year.


The Surat Thani Governor Mr. Witchawut Jintoe told the Phuket Express that according to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, last year Surat Thani’s revenue from tourism was 27.66 billion baht.
