The view new posts function appears to have stuck when the new TV format was introduces. Instead of seeing approximately 10 pages of new posts each day i log on it's currently at 48 and not resetting when I log off. Is it a general thing or just me?

seems ok to me, working as it had in the past...

try the usual stuff, clear your cache data, cookies, temporary internet files etc and try again.

Let us know how that works out

No difference but at least I know the prob is my end. I didn't want to get fiddling around if it was a forum thing. Oh well this rusty old steam driven brain is going to have to learn new tricks. I'll let you know if I solve it but don't hold your breath.

Thanks. :o

Go to "My Controls" > "Board Settings". There are two settings, 'Number of posts for each topic page' and 'Number of topics for each forum page. Check the latter one.

//Edit - I just tested it by setting both item to 10 posts and didn't make a difference for me on View New Posts. I get 25 topics per page regardless. :D

No change yesterday and page count had got to 50 something when I logged on this morning. I logged out for about an hour and when I logged back in again it was back to normal with about four pages.

So the good news is that it is fixed.

The bad news is I haven't the foggiest idea what the fault was.

There was a slight glitsch this morning when it wouldn't accept my password and I had to go through the forgotten passward routine so I don't know what that was all about.

Computers, about as reliable as the English weather.
