Gents.. Good Day.

I’m seeking some advice for the Thai Driving License, renewal process.

Current license expiring soon after 5 years.

Completed the online-learning course (1 hour video)

Preferred TDL office is Banglamung Chonburi, (as current Thai Driving License was issued by Banglamung office), but could not find the Banglamung Chonburi DTL office for online ‘Q’ booking.

I live in Sriracha and the Sriracha office is available for online ‘Q” booking. Can I try the Sriracha office?

Any advice on way forward is greatly appreciated.

Also please advise if any other documents required :

·       Passport

·       Certificate of Residency ( Issued by Jomtien Immigration)

·       Old Licenses

·       Medical Check Certificate ?? (is this required)

·       Etc.,

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanking all in advance.

Cheers!!

Will Chonburi Immigration issue a Certificate of Residency based upon proof of ownership ( Chanote) for my Pattaya Condo instead of a non immigrant visa ?

My license expires in May and will be my 3rd 5 year renewal but I only have a Tourist visa due to the health insurance requirement for an OA . I  could just use my US license for the 6 months that I am here but if memory serves me correctly you are only allowed to use a foreign license for 30 days

as i posted if applied after expiry, it will be for 5 years + time to next birthday so a day or so short of 6 years
