Investing In Managed Funds And/or Shares - How?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am interested in investing in the DTAC shares and also in some of the managed funds I see. But how? Sorry this is way outside my area of expertise.

Who do I talk to? How do I do it? What is my starting point?

Thanks

Paul

DTAC is owned by Total Access Communications PCL, and it has listings on the stock exchange of thailand and also in singapore. To buy it you need an account from a broker or bank (brokerage account)

As for managed funds, there are many different types. Some funds can only be owned through investment plans that in turn own the fund, some are exchange traded (and therefore easy to get in and out of) and some accept direct subscriptions from investors. You should do some homework about what you want to invest in first.
