MEAL kit provider HelloFresh, which is based in Berlin, Germany, said it will no longer sell coconut milk sourced from Thailand as it does not support any form of animal cruelty across its supply chain, the company announced on Monday (Mar. 6).

Over 1.3 Million Air-Pollution Cases So Far This Year

THERE were as many as 1,325,838 air-pollution related cases in Thailand during Jan. 1-Mar. 5 this year with the public warned that airborne particles known as PM2.5 could lead to cardiovascular disease and lung cancer while 31,081 people died from exposure to toxic airborne dust in 2019, TV Channel 7 quoted the Public Health Ministry as saying.

The Chiang Mai authorities in northern Thailand will hand out face masks to the public as the province struggles with dangerously high levels of air pollution caused by persistent forest fires.

A SOUTH KOREAN pig farm owner in Pocheon, Gyeonggi province, has been arrested on the suspicion of disposing of the dead body of a Thai farm worker earlier this month, according to local police (Mar. 8).

Thai tourism officials hopeful 6 million European travellers will arrive this year

The governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand says he expects 6 million European tourists to visit the kingdom this year, according to a Bangkok Post report. This figure would be 80% of pre-Covid levels and should generate around 420 billion baht of a total expected tourism revenue of 1.5 trillion baht for 2023.

Cabinet Approves Phase 4 of Scholarship Program for Southern Border Students
