Why is it so difficult to be objective?

Thailand being the perfect example.

 

Some people who come and decide to leave can not say one thing positive about Thailand.

 

The ones who stay always keep trying to justify their existence here by wearing the rose tinted glasses?

 

Now, why is that?

Don't know what your on about I don't justify my exsistance here,  some living here might but I couldn't give a monkies about them or the ones who have left.

because living abroad is a mixed bag.

and humans are emotional creatures.

you may love some things ... but then other stuff causes you to leave.

so it causes mixed emotions.

I'd be more worried as to why other peoples opinions on your life choices are important or even bother you at all!  ????

I objectively love and or hate everything.  Makes it easy.

 

TH ... love / hate relationship.   Love is winning.  If that changed, so would I, though don't see it happening anytime soon and since I'm on borrowed time ...

It's called being human. You can't know ahead of time if you'll like something, be it food, a different country, a new doctor, your new parents-in-law or anything else. You have to experience it. Some people like certain things that others don't. Again, it's called being human. If everyone was alike it would be a boring world.
