But seems to be popular in Philippines and Indonesia. One thing against it is that a basket cannot simply be added on the front. Something almost unheard of in Indonesia. Popular Post Issanman
My first bike. Tokorozawa Japan late 1969. I was 15 years old. The bike was previously used as a shuttle at a Toshiba factory and was painted the Toshiba colors of red and yellow. It was slightly refurbished and presented to me for helping out in a small Honda shop during the summer of 1969. Honda Super Cub, unknown year 3

I haven't needed anything other than service items which I got from a Honda dealer in the UK or a dealer in Hong Kong when I worked there. I do remember that the unusual spark plugs foul fairly easily and cannot be brought back to life. A pain when they are about a hundred quid a set. Interesting never knew it had special plugs what's so special about them, maybe they are classic to now ????
Popular Post Issanman
Kawasaki Mach III 500 Upper Arlington, Ohio 1972 A friend and I did a round trip from Columbus, Ohio to Nashville, Tennessee summer 1972. He rode his brand new 1972 H2 750. During our return trip coming back from Nashville on a cool and humid night ride on I-75 through Kentucky, we got into a high speed top end race with a 429 CobraJet Torino. Somehow my H1 ended up in front of both the H2 and the CJ. Go figure. My friend wasn’t thrilled about it and the CJ guy lost the race or maybe just chickened out. From a stoplight, my H1 couldn’t get near the H2. Not even close. Edited March 18, 2023 by Issanman 3

Or at least I don't know about it, I had a guy in Bangkok who was specialized in these bikes and he took care of most issues. I remember when I had one bad water pipe I asked the guy to order a set and replace them all. He told me he would love to do that but he can't order them anywhere. When one pipe needed replacement he looked to find a pipe from some other bike which fit, maybe with modification. At that time that was my only bike and I was fed up with waiting a month at a time to get it fixed. I hope you will continue to enjoy your bike. 14,500 red line 100km/h in the 1st gear is a lot of fun. ????

Honda make a song and dance in the service manual about how they specified and had these plugs manufactured so they could fit larger valves.

A Japanese friend had one and let me borrow it for a week to go on my high school graduation field trip to Shimoda in June 1971. I was 17 years old. It was green and awesome. I believe it was a 1969 model. Very thrilling exhaust note on those early CB750s. Edited March 18, 2023 by Issanman 1

No more crotch rockets for me after that. 2
Pouatchee
Honda FSX 150. NSR's little brother. Can't find date of manufacture but pretty sure it is antique. Fast as hell_o for a 150. Had a 1982 Harley FLH Classic in Canada but got screwed by a guy who called himself a friend. I am here, he is there... nothing I can do about it anymore. 1
