Guess that depends on how long you wanted to remain in Thailand. 

 

If I convert to an O visa what must I do after the first 90 days if approved.

In the last 30days of the 90 day permission of stay you apply for 12 month extension.

The 800k would need to have been in the bank for 2 months.

I am fortunate that the Canadian embassy still issues income letters. That should suffice I hope.
