Question At 8AM how long is it taking to drive 12KM from Mo Chit Bus Station to downtown Bangkok?

At 8AM how long is it taking to drive 12KM from Mo Chit Bus Station to downtown Bangkok? 
 

Anyone know? Was thinking about making a quick trip to Park Ventures Place in the morning. Is traffic bad in the morning? Will it take more than an hour to drive 12K at about 8AM?

30-40 minutes at least, on the elevated highway... actually the trip shouldn't take more than 20 minutes but the traffic is bad in the morning

Open Google Maps. Choose starting point, destination and tap on Directions. Choose means of transport and starting date/time and it will show you the best routes and approximate time it should take at that time.

 

Obviously if there are any accidents or something, it will be off, but in general it's quite accurate.

I  know this is a silly question but why would you not take the BTS.  It stops right there.
