How high is your blood pressure that you take medication

it tends to vary at different times from 140/90 .to 133/75 

booze tends to send it higher

i just take 10 of amlodipine

an aspirin brings it down

a mate with diabetes has BP off the scale  he cant seem to get it down at all

The lower number is less "elastic" i.e. does not readily change in repsonse to temporary conditions. Whereas the upper number will go up whenever stressed, in pain, after a sneeze or cough etc etc
