Never mind, I am sure the others are just fine..... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11935971/AstraZeneca-Covid-vaccine-no-longer-available-Australians-Coronavirus-jab-discontinued.html https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/astrazeneca-vaccine-discontinued-by-federal-government/news-story/b917f53dfbefa9342e9c3218724c58f8 Edited April 6, 2023 by 248900_1469958220

ozimoron
Our happy clapping born again nut job PM at the time decided that we would only have AZ vaccines and rejected the more effective and safer mRNA vaccines. After the dung hit the fan, Australia was left without vaccine supplies for some months and we could not leave Australian and citizens were prevented from returning except in small numbers. Here's more from the article: It was really only left available for this long for people who had earlier doses of AstraZeneca and wanted to complete their course with it,' Prof Bennett said. The AstraZeneca vaccine was approved for use in people aged 18 and over as a primary course from February 15, 2021 and as a booster dose February 8, 2022. But from October, 2021, it was available by request only in favour of the newer Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines.
