A French priest has received death threats after a sold-out pole dance performance was held in his church

Only to people that don't know anything about Christianity. Were pole dancing a thing in Israel when he walked on it's soil, he'd have been a friend of pole dancers, just as he was a friend of prostitutes.

Saddens me when people don't understand their own religion.

He would’ve been unhappy at them selling tickets.  He was quite clear that temples were for prophets, not profits.

Both wrong, death threats, and having such an event in church. Why didn't they just do it outside of the church?
