it's just an ego thing ... people can brag that they saw Elvis in 1942 ... who cares? his music is still available online. 

we watch movies at home, so music at home is good enough. 

 

I don't regret seeing some big names live. They were awesome.

The last 6 months has been the best 6 months of my life since about 2010. Simply because I choose to forget the past and focus on the next week ahead.

yes, and some people got crushed at a Who concert.

I have no interest being in large crowds of potentially unruly people.

I listen to music every day.

There are hundreds of artists I like.

If I were to go start chasing them all down in concerts, it would be very costly.

And I'm quite content just listening in the comfort of my home.

The past doesn't exist anymore so regretting the past is like regretting a ghost so it's not healthy. It might be common but of no value.

If I knew when my ending was I'd be in LOS spending large on women, but I don't so I'm not.

 

As for procrastination, it's not lack of desire to do things, but rather that my body is no longer capable of much.

A "big name" I saw was Dire Straits. It was an enjoyable concert but I was so far away from the stage it was like watching tv from the back of a big room. I could have bought a VDO instead and enjoyed that as much.

 

The last group I saw was the one with Kris Kristofferson in it. Saw it in Bkk and so far away I could barely see them.

I bought 2 expensive tickets by post to see the Beatles live in Adelaide.

 

On arrival discovered the hall was massive. Full house. Our booked seats in second last row. 

 

Performers on stage looked about the size of ants.

 

Audience went wild with screaming and yelling all the time, couldn't really hear the Beatles singing or their band work.

 

Waste of time and money.

It's more regretting the things I didn't do, and not being able to do them now, than the things that happened.
