Report Python Intrusion Startles Ayutthaya Couple in Third-Floor Bedroom
Picture courtesy of KhaoSod In an unexpected and alarming incident, a couple in Ayutthaya was startled to discover a nearly 2-metre-long python curled up in their third-floor bedroom. The python was found beside their bed, prompting an immediate call to emergency services for help. The Ayutthaya Rescue Unit received the distress call at 3 a.m. on May 13, reporting a python in room 331 of a dormitory in the Khan Ham subdistrict, Uthai district. Rescuers arrived promptly at the scene, ready with snake-catching tools to assist the anxious couple, 45-year-old Don and his 40-year-old wife, Muay. Outside their room, Don and Muay pointed rescuers to the python's location. On entering, the rescue team found the python—approximately 1.5 metres long—coiled on a shelf near a Buddhist altar. The team expertly captured the snake and safely returned it to its natural habitat, ensuring no harm came to the animal or the couple. The night before the encounter, Don and Muay had left their bedroom door open to combat the heat. When the temperature dropped later, Don got up to close the door, only to be shocked by the sight of the python beside their bed. The couple quickly retreated to the bathroom and contacted the dormitory owner for assistance. Initially thinking the snake had left, they returned to bed. However, upon spotting the python curled beside a bag of medicine under the altar, they urgently called for rescue services. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. Reflecting on the unexpected visit, Don expressed his disbelief: "I never imagined a snake could climb up to the third floor. After this, I won’t dare to sleep with the door open again. I might even try my luck with the room number, 331, as a lottery number to forget this frightening ordeal." This unusual encounter serves as a reminder of the potential surprises nature can bring, even in urban settings, and highlights the importance of wildlife management and safety in residential areas. Traditional Shaving Enthusiasts
Sadly too long ago to recall exactly. A shop when I was visiting Vancouver. I seem to remember also buying a high end foil electric shaver. I'm sure brushes are available are on-line.
