BREAKING: A female net idol and a male Airforce cadet have been shot and killed

You think the net idol shot and killed the military brat with his own gun, and then killed herself

Well, since I am not in the guessing game business, or the pin-the-tale on-the-donkey business, I'll stick with that thing called DUE PROCESS.

So, tell me Inspector Clueso, what makes you think it was him?

Strange that he and his father’s rank and name are identical in spite of him being only a cadet.

It's a lot better than google translate. So confirmed homicide/suicide. At least the rest of the female population won't have to deal with this human trash as he worked his way up the grubby

Sad, may they both RIP and their killer be found and sentenced appropriately. If it was a jealousy killing then it should be easy to track the individual down.

The journalist Sorayuth FB posts quoted above referring to him as the "perpetrator."  Along with the pictoral evidence posted above that she was being physically abused by the guy, and that he also appears (based on the posted photos) to have been something of a gun nut.

Water is wet... You don't have to wonder if it's wet.

A journalist said he's the perpetrator? That sounds like the case is closed then.

May be so, but why so quick to jump on the bandwagon?

If all those pics of him with guns were anything to go by, something like this was odds on likely to happen.

How can the young guy shown in the above photos possibly be a "major general" in the Thai Army? And the two have the same name?

who knows...? 'journalists' here just write or copy and paste stuff without checking, reading, or attempting to add any benefit.

This appears to be our guy:

19 yr old young cadet who had his whole life ahead of him ......

very sad indeed ...

RIP young man.

His whole life of abusing and terrorising the person he professed to love.

Quite the take from you, Steven.

Let your eulogy for a sick sadistic bloodthirsty spoiled little s-stain speak for itself.

A rejected Thai male kills the person that rejected them, so no one else can be with them, then kills themselves to avoid the consequences.

See the next episode of this in the news tomorrow.

Then again the day after.

Why is everyone assuming he murdered her?

Most crimes are done by persons known to victim.

Actually, from everything I can read in the Thai language news, there's no indication she entirely "rejected" him. Even though they apparently had previously broken up, somehow, despite the apparent history of domestic abuse, there were social media photos of them together out not long before the murder.

At first, I thought this guy had nothing about his ex-GF on his FB page, just GUNS...  many photos and videos of him shooting and posing with all kinds of guns...

But turns out, he did have at least one post about her back in March 2021:

all of them?

The platitudes, specuation and observations fron the penut gallery are once again doing AN justice.

Inflammatory post removed.  Continue and face a suspension.

Who ever did this to them is nothing but a wayward coward. Here it seems taking someone's or others  live is a trophy. RIP to them. My condolences to their families.

Wow he was really moving up the ranks fast, 19 and already a major general.

Better and more commonly known as ' social media influencer' having said that, the demise of young people out of rage or misguided anger is always a great loss to their friends and family.

And the cause of death was jealousy.. The opening statement makes no sense, perhaps an auto-translation. As to Net Idle I used to date a girl who was bone idle.

Upon reading the first post I came to the conclusion it was most likely murder-suicide. It doesn't take much cognitive thought to make that assumption.

Posters on this opinion forum rarely wait for the trial/autopsy/police report to express their conclusions. Others who want to oppose these opinions because the authorities haven't personally presented them with irrefutable proof are just trolling in my opinion.

The word "cadet" in the headline was sufficient for me to dismiss the translation/Thai reporting error that gifted the 19yo the killer the same name and rank as his father. I have to wonder if the pedants who concentrate on this minor misprint in lieu of the actual crime have ever actually spent time in Thailand.

Yes, but why automatically assuming he did it immediately before we have evidence or it's proven?

Way, way too many. And it is a strong indication of just how bent, warped and misguided contemporary culture and society is, that someone can be considered an idol or celebrity just because they have alot of followers on Tik tok, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Personally, I consider social media to be the most corrosive and degenerate force in culture today, and they can be downright dangerous, on multiple levels.

Children are growing up now in a world where they expect immediate response, gratification and notification. Their brains no longer have time to evolve; they must adapt to change in an instant, and the results are distressing. The difficulties of growing up have never been so public. Social technology provides a platform where things can run wild. Imagine the stress of high school – the competition for popularity, the pressure to fit in, the judgmental nature of social activities – at an accelerated pace. We try to protect our children from wandering off into the darkness on their own, and it turns out they are doing exactly that – online. When they get older and “ready,” we send them off to college, where they face more pressures. But social media has an infamous dark side and the more people share, the more serious this side becomes. As it turns out, living your life online has serious consequences for your self-esteem, your relationships, and your career prospects.

And regardless of who committed the crime, it is a real indictment of contemporary Thai culture, that so many men are murdering women who have spurned them. Where is the self esteem? Any man with sufficient self worth, is able to just walk away from a woman, when things are not working out, or she is no longer interested in him. Where is the dignity? Man up. Show some class. Show some humanity. Show us something.

And to think... the same guy could have been a future leader in the Thai military...with family heritage connections and all.... ????

Looks like he was preparing for the part...

That poor dog looks scared shirtless.

He seems to have had an unhealthy obsession with guns. That cartoon says it all.

I was thinking a net idol was catch net on the side of a river that had nothing in it.

About the same as "Influencers"

Very sad.

It's amazing how dogs are such excellent judges of character.
