Phuket hospital says Covid vaccine boosters still available for locals & tourists

The director of Vachira Phuket Hospital says there are still Covid-19 vaccines available to any locals or tourists in need of a booster dose.

 

According to a Phuket News report, Dr Weerasak Lorthongkam is urging those in need to come forward, as infections rise following the recent Songkran holiday.

 

“Vachira Phuket Hospital is ready to take care of people and tourists. We have vaccination services for citizens and tourists who need a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, especially those who received their last dose of vaccine more than 4 months ago.”

I bet it is not the newer multi strain vaccine though.

I bet it isn’t the new multi-strain vaccine too. My doctor told me there is no point having a booster unless it is the new multi strain vaccine. The “old” vaccines are readily available for free but when I enquired about the new multi strain vaccine I was told they know nothing about it.

My brother was given that in the UK last October, so it's hardly 'new'. I guess the hospitals here want to get rid of their stocks of the older vaccines, we should be grateful they aren't still touting Anutin's supply of Chinese vaccines, lol.
