I guess they had house insurance, then not too bad.

insurance doesnt generally pay out on undocumneted items like cash in a safe.

Reading the OP and the fact they took the CCTV Server and destroyed the safe in 4 hours tells me that whomever broke in knew what was in the house and had planned this event.

Four hours to break-in and commit the crime? Someone knew about the families movements, where the safe was, what was in it and where the server for the CCTV was kept. With todays technology

They put a lot of thought into hiding the safe  :whistling:

So your saying crimes like this do not happen elsewhere?

Not sure where you get that from (I suggest you re-read my posts)? Paying police to investigate a crime happens everywhere then does it? As I say this country is corrupt top to bottom and every Thai old enough to understand this would agree, except for the corrupt ones of course.

Of course they do, but how many other countries have a police force that ask you for money just to "investigate" something?

looks like burglers used kitchen knifes to open safe :))))) WTF ?

Nothing unusual about this break-in. Best not to keep valuables or a large amount of money in the house, and always remember a safe acts as a magnet to thieves.
