Yes. 300m^2 standing seam. You?

Are you close to the plant?

That's the only situation when delivery costs are not a significant part.

Or your roof is grossly overpriced.

Three roofs - all made by a local Bluescope franchisee.

Two Bluescope Zacs in 2 different profiles - one is PU insulated, another is with thin stuff.

The third is Bluescope Colorbond - PU insulated.

How much were they, and how much was the delivery?

Delivery costs is another big expense that is usually not factored into the overall price.

Fair call but where you choose to live you have to except the extra costs.

I think today newbies builds here are lucky,  20 years ago was a nightmare but I'm happy with my aspectos cement roof cover in the blue that the local govt told us what we had to have. ????????

I don't really remember details on the first two.

Just remember that it wasn't cheap since I'm located a good few hours away from the shop.

And it would definitely be even much more expensive if ordering from Bangkok.

The first two were re-roofs that's why I was aware of details at the time.

The third one was done on a new build by the builder - not much of costs visibility there.

I'll have another mini-project coming up where I plan to install a PU insulated roof on a carport and also use the same material for walls of the built-in storage shed.

That material will be sourced from a local non-franchisee that sells PU insulated non-Bluescope metal.

I expect free delivery.

We have ordered a bluescope metal roof - with PU foam - it arrives on Saturday.

Did it arrive yet?

Got photos?

Yes - Not a lot to see.

We rent a house with a zinc roof carport, it pops during the daytime. I had also read reports from Thai self builders about squeaking noises as the sheets expanded on a hot day and the foam rubbed together.

The sheets are already up and fitted to the garage (just 5mm insulation), and no pops as our rental. The PU foam backed sheets are sealed in a foil, not as I was expecting, I was expecting bare foam to be rubbing together to make the squeaking sound.
