Murder charges filed against suspect in series of cyanide poisonings

 

Pol Col Anek Taosuparb, deputy commander of the Crime Suppression Division, told the media Saturday night that murder charges were filed by the police against a Thai female suspect, 36-year-old “Srarat”, in connection with the deaths of eight people, believed to have been poisoned with cyanide.

Key witnesses summoned as suspected cyanide serial killer faces 10 arrest warrants

Authorities are keeping a close eye on the investigation, as they interrogate three key witnesses in the case surrounding the suspected cyanide serial killer Sararat ‘Am’ Rangsiwuthaporn. In addition, police have requested additional arrest warrants for Sararat, bringing the total number of arrest warrants to ten.

A new symbol has appeared in the kaleidoscopic jumble of neon signs that light up Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok's most international street. The sudden ubiquity of the five-pointed marijuana leaf, in lurid green, announces the spectacular boom there has been in weed-related businesses in Thailand since cannabis was decriminalised last June.

Government to resubmit proposal to fund help with domestic power bills

The Thai government will resubmit its proposal to the Election Commission (EC) for approval of the allocation of about 11 billion baht from the Central Fund, to be used from May to August to ease the financial burden on household consumers of higher electricity bills.

Wrong-Way Driver travels 3 km on expressway, collides with barrier, and dies in tragic accident
