First 90 report submittal after entering Thailand with Thai exit/entrance permit

Recommended Posts

I will be going to Japan and come back to Thailand

I have current marriage visa and will get exit permit at DMK before boarding the plane.

When I get back I understand the 90day report obligation resets itself from the day I get back from Japan

Question is

The FIRST 90day report I do after getting back from Japan, must I appear at the immigration office to do the 90day report? Or can I do mail in or online 90 day report?

The office is very far from my place and I wish to avoid having wife drive me there.

Does any one know?

Thanks so much

You should try doing it online first. The system has improved over the last year or so, and submitting 90-day reports online is less flaky than previously. If submitting online fails, I suggest the inconvenient submitting in person. It should then work online in the future.

You can do it online or mail.

Avoid in person given long drive for you.

BTW....I have an online report pending ATM.

I had returned from Vietnam 75 days ago.

My online was rejected but reason given is that I did not provide room #.

So it should work for you online.

Asking the immigration people I never get a straight answer

I believe that ONLY your 1st 90 day report after obtaining your 1st extension
needs be done in  person

This past December in arrived back in Thailand from a holiday in Egypt.  I have a retirement extension and used my re-entry permit.  I submitted my 90 day report online in March and it was accepted.
