Which month of the year is less humid?

Featured Replies

Dear all,

Which month of the year is less humid in Thailand?

Western Northern hemisphere winter, but you can really find this out yourself via Google

I would say it depends WHERE in Thailand you are.The North is way different to the Coast or islands

March and April.

It's a long country, so varies.   But 60-80% is average all year, just about everywhere.  Some areas that relates to a lot of rain, others, not so much.

That's why GOD invented AC ... ????

Hottest and most humid months have always been March, April and May.

This past year it was really nice from Nov to early Mar. Not very hot, almost no rain, and lower humidity.

As March marched on the pollution was very bad. April even worse with heat, humidity, and pollution.

Now that we've had some rain in May the pollution isn't nearly as bad, but it is very hot and humid.

If I could be out of Thailand for 3 months I'd choose: Oct too much rain. Mar/Apr too much heat/humidity and pollution.

cold weather means less water in the air.  So the colder months will be less humid than the warmer ones.  That's why it's called relative humidity.

Air pollution started in late Dec…

answer - January

What? Stupid answer. He said least humid not most humid.

On average...December & January

Which part of Thailand?

Humidity is high all year in the south, nicest months are January & February, they're the driest, coolest and least humid. Though it's all relative.

It's depending of where you stay in Thailand, as the climate and rainy season are different in different areas.

If you use Wikipedia in English and find your province or location, you will for most areas find a table with climate, including the rainy months.

The few examples below shows you the difference, like Phuket and Samui close to each other but with different rainy seasons due to south-western monsoon at Phuket and north-eastern monsoon on Samui and her sisters...
