It wold be interesting if an intelligent person would compare the two , the U.K and Germany and Germanies recession and U.Ks Brexit and if there's any relation between the two .

   Like, if Brexit was so bad for the U.K , then why is Germany in recession and the U.K isn't ?

An intelligent person would compare different countries, such as the G7 countries, and find out that UK is second worst after Germany in G7.

C9mpared to Germany, such a person would also find out that UK has still not recovered pre-pandemic level, and also that UK is rated AA-, while Germany is rated AAA.

I think you're touching on one of the motives for Brexit, the lessening role of the UK in the EU and the more dominant role of the Germans.

Me stupid! I thought the House of Commons economists and the IMF economists were intelligent people as they regularly use comparisons between G7 countries.

 

Anyway, even if you exclude the non-European G7 countries, UK is still second worst.

Yes, there are three E.U Countries in the G.7 Group and the U.K would either be the third best or the second worst  , depends on which way you look at it .

   Also , all Countries count their figures differently , so the rankings are not conclusive .

   I am not saying that the Italians are cooking the books , they would never do anything like that , oh no
