Everyone is on their best behaviour because they have seen what might happen.

It's still not over until the senate makes their decision.

It was over 3-4 years ago.

Pro democracy landslides for many many generations to come.

The fat lady has sung, packed up her stuff and gone home.

The show is over.

The good guys won.

There is something to say about optimism and the promotions thereof.

Applauded.

Some might have a little more cynicism mixed with that optimism before completely singing praises.

Caution about the deep end.

Cheers.

My gf told me that in her village someone collected the ID card from her father and many other people, and they each received 500B. After the election the ID cards were returned.

Did anybody complain?

Was that somehow investigated?

I have my doubts.

I think it is impossible for outsiders to estimate how corrupt the Thai elections are. And insiders are smart enough to keep the dirty details away from the public.

And now the lucrative posts are assigned, or is it more correct to say they go to the highest bidder?

TiT

In our area it was business as usually at election time, the wife got 500 baht, as before, as did most of her family, she still voted for MFP, the money come from another party.

It might be the fastest certification ever in Thailand’s electoral history.

Yes & Yes right up until the time they will allow the 250 BS senators to actually sway the vote & decide who will be PM

Then it is once again not a clean election at all is it? ????

60 days?  Many countries the right to govern has changed by the next day.  Here the losers and their friends have 60 days to muddy the waters and hide what they would like unknown.

Sure.

And the Thai media [like everyone else] completely misses the picture that the whole election was bogus, under a sitting illegitimate and illegal government.....who participated.

Doesn't say too much about the intelligence and connectiveness of the Thai media [and most everyone else], as they keep pressing on as if everything is peachy keen. Oblivious.
