3rd floor jumps do not provide good odds for ending it.....

But 3rd floor jumps have very good odds for ending up in the hospital with a huge medical bill...

Third floor jumps are really second floor jumps because the ground floor is the first floor in Thailand.

They usually don't mention the hotel or businesses in news articles.

It's mentioned in Thai news articles.

Hotels frequented by Chinese tour groups are not for me.

I did not say it is impossible to die from a 3rd floor jump....

I said the odds were very far from a sure thing.....

I would guess a very high number of 3rd floor jumpers have survived,....But many would be a medical mess......

If you are suicidal, and are going to attempt to take your own life, at least do it in such a way that you are likely to succeed. Few things are more pathetic than failing at suicide, and becoming famous for it. A 3rd floor fall is a bad bet. You are right. He would likely survive and end up with horrible injuries.
