Pc Component Prices

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm in Koh Chang and have an internet cafe to upgrade. I need several components such as cpu, mobo, ram, psu. How do internet prices at Thanni.com compare to places like Pantip and MBK? Do the prices on Thanni.com include VAT ?

Thanks.

Pantip is cheaper than the online vendors, i recently priced up a new machine from online sources, but when i got to pantip i managed to save almost 25% of the cost (shopped around a bit) - i would use the online shops as a rough price/availability guide, nothing more

If you want to know the prices at the IT supercenters, just go to www.hwhinter.com and www.jib.co.th. They're the websites for the two most common stores found in the IT centers, and the prices listed on their websites are fairly accurate indicators of the typical prices in Pantip. Hardware House is fairly cheap, and it has the prices for the most items. Main problem is that their stores sometimes do not actually stock the items listed. JIB can be cheaper than Hardware House at some things, but their selection is limited to very mainstream products.

Thanks guys, with that info I'll head up to my local supplier in Koh Chang with my target prices and see if he can get anywhere close. Else, it will be a trip up to Bangkok.
