But he does not and did not OWN the shares. He was/is simply the executor of them.

It is the same as when people die in many cases their executor takes control of the bank accounts, house, land etc.

It does not mean that they own it, as they are merely holding it whilst waiting for a decision from a court to release it to the rightful owners.

The father's will was executed in 2006. That's almost two decades ago, so the fact Pita was still holding them suggests he received them as the beneficiary.

He quickly offloaded them once the details emerged after the election, so it's just plain incompetent that Pita and the MFP did not sort it out before they started campaigning.

'Ruangkrai Leekitwattana'.

It is my earnest hope that the name will live on long in the minds of Thais, and of the history of this poor beknighted nation itself, as something to be reviled, symbolising starkly the distinction between two eras.....the past of military/m...y & elite dominance & exploitation of the entire, rigged & runaway show, and a troubled but enlightened beginning of something really worth waving a flag for, in genuine pride & respect.

I can not understand what this guys motives are ??? If Pita and mf are disbarred this guy will have to leave the country or have protection for the rest of his short life, why would you put yourself and family in danger over this ?? Their are lots of nasty men out there.

Know what you mean.

But when you consider how well he would have been rewarded (by the junta & co) in the past, for similar petitions, in his long standing career as 'activist-assassin' (ie, very, very well rewarded), it's not hard to see how his ill-gotten reward this particular time must - imo - be just too great for him to consider those dangers to him or his family, now or in the future. Avarice and immorality trumps all. ????????
