Chonburi — A sedan crashed into a streetlight on a median strip at a Chonburi bypass before bursting into flames today, June 18th. The driver and his passenger, however, miraculously survived the accident.

Sawang Boriboon rescuers responded to a traffic accident reported at 5 AM today on a Pattaya-Rayong bypass within the Nong Pla Lai sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

At the accident scene, a bronze Honda City sedan was found to have collided with a streetlight pole, causing the pole to collapse. The car had then plunged into the median strip, and a fierce fire broke out in the vehicle, with two unidentified people trapped inside.
