Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt addressed intimate pictures of him with an unnamed woman that were circulated on social media. These pictures showed the 57 year old Bangkok chief kissing a blonde woman in a restaurant.

 

Chadchart today admitted that the photographs were taken in a private setting and unrelated to his role as Governor of Bangkok in any way.

 

He admitted that the images may have offended someone and extended an apology for the trouble they may have caused, adding he would exercise greater caution in the future.

 

When Chadchart was asked about his relationship with the woman in the picture, he declined to comment, stating that it was not related to his work as Bangkok governor and that he did not want to involve others who were not related to his job. The picture was allegedly taken before Chadchart was elected as Governor of Bangkok. He said…

I'm finding it hard to see any 'scandal'; the man's a divorcee seemingly no with attachments apart from looking after his son, it's a kiss at a birthday party, they're both fully clothed and consenting adults.

 

Talk about over egging the pudding.

 

I'd say it's the headline and article that are scandalous.

and exactly who does he think could possibly  be "offended" ? and not just a little bit offended but offended to such a degree that he has decided a public apology is required!.

Having a second look you could well be correct. Also odd is this......                                                       Quote from linked article:  "They are old photos from last May, taken during a birthday party for one of our friends."                                                                                          If you look at the writing on the plate (Twist your head!) It says Happy Birthday and his name (Chadchart) right in front of him. It's his birthday cake. An odd thing to forget.

I do not see the same. But it would be irrelevant eiher way.

 

If this is the only way, a governor of Bangkok can be mentioned with the word 'scandal' in the same sentence, I would propose that Thai politics has reached a heaven-like, immaculate state.

Looks like a dude to me. 

Not that I care, I just hate lousy reporting.

I think maybe she was just checking to see if he had any food on his face before taking a birthday picture.

The only scandal here is in the smallest minded Thai's that can not realize that people do have emotions and wat to share them.

 

This is all part of that hypocrital Thai culture that says. There is no prostitution but promotes bars bar girls soapy massage.

 

It is also the same culture that says mistreatment of women is bad but glorifies it on the soaps.

 

Making out on the BTS or in the mall may be overboard but a kiss is a kiss.

 

If I want to kiss my gf what business is it of some old biddy that either isn't getting any and is jealous
