BANGKOK, June 28 (TNA) –  The Criminal Court on Wednesday dismissed a defamation case brought against Thai Pakdee Party leader Dr. Warong Dechgitvigrom  by the Move Forward Party.

The party filed a lawsuit against him, demanding 24 million baht compensation for the damage after Dr. Warong posted on his Facebook page between Jan 20 and Feb 3, 2022 claiming that the MFP intended to insult the royal institution.

He alleged that the MFP and Progressive Movement leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit were behind the moves allegedly trying to overthrow the institution and to repeal Section 112 royal defamation law.

Wow. What a total surprise .

The defamation laws are a one way street designed to protect the guilty and convict the innocent.

The country needs Move Forward.

What the deluded loyalists don't comprehend is that these days Thai politics are like a pressure cooker.

They think they can just do what they have always done and they will get away with it as usual.

What they cannot understand is that even in the provinces , there is now the rumble of discontent with the status quo.

Whereas before the natural protest vote would have been Pheu Thai , political awareness has grown through social media to the extent that many people want a real change to society not just monetary benefits.

Ok...so maybe once again the old school might succeed in sitting on the lid of the pressure cooker and delaying the inevitable , but if Pita and Move Forward are once again nobbled then the old school can never again risk an election.

If they do , whatever the remnant of Move Forward may look like it will get a landside that will put Pheu Thai in the shade.
