webfact Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 A tragic incident took place yesterday, July 3rd, around 09.40 am in the Thung Yai district of Nakhon Si Thammarat province, where a 53-year-old construction worker fatally electrocuted while working on an unfinished rooftop. The victim, identified as Mr. Amnuay, was part of a crew constructing a modern one-story house for the homeowner, Mrs. Aphorn, reported Siam Rath. Photo: Siam Rath According to Aphorn, Mr. Amnuay was cutting metal sheets on the roof using an electric tool when a possible malfunction occurred, causing a surge of electricity to disperse across the metal sheet and onto Mr. Amnuay. His colleagues heard a loud sound and found him convulsing but were unable to assist due to the absence of a ladder. Photo: Siam Rath The local rescue team and officials from the district office, upon arrival, turned off the electrical supply, preventing further accidents. Despite their efforts, Mr. Amnuay was pronounced dead at the scene. His bereaved wife, alerted by Aphorn, arrived at the scene, visibly distraught. The body was released to the family for religious rites. #news Top Photo: Siam Rath -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-07-04 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. This is where health and safety training is vitally important. If "his colleagues" had a bit of training they would have immediately disconnected power which may have saved this mans life. Note: There was absence of a ladder so how did the guy get up onto the roof?

I can only assume they have no idea that is what they are.
