Hmm.. not good. ADSL revenue increased only 15% last year which seems very low. I guess there's tough competition from True et. al.

He also said that the TOT board was considering a Chinese government proposal for a long-term loan of 20 billion baht to Thai Mobile to allow the struggling business to offer third-generation service.

Is Thai Mobile part of some other mobile brand or vice versa? I have never seen Thai Mobile for sale anywhere?! Yet the mobile business added over 500M baht to TOT's business so it's definitely not small...

Maybe this is why TOT have still not fitted my IPStar TOT system despite having paid for it seven months ago!!

Not surprised. I've used TTT/Maxnet for two years now and have had a great service. Tried to add TOT/Cyberwhatever as a second ADSL line - after 3 months of being unable to get it to work (and paying 1K baht/month for nothing) TOT suggested I should drop the idea and cancel the subscription. No wonder these guys are going out of business.

Not surprising.... strip away their revenue's from concessions, and they are making a loss. I think last year DTAC and True stopped paying mobile concessions ( ??) - Wonder when they are going IPO :o

I might have some use for a load balancing router :o:D Looks like you won't have much to balance!

Ahh now it becomes clear, 4 months on and they still haven't installed lines at our estate, their excuse they are trying to buy the cable!

Hopefully their internet service will go belly up and TRUE will be able to operate in their territories.

Yep, 1 x Linksys RV042 load balancing router and 2 x Linksys AM300 matching ADSL modems are sitting on my shelf without a purpose. You can have the bunch for half price (5K). Let me know if you're interested, I'd be happy to get it out of my sight. :o
