webfact
On the evening of July 19th, a startling incident occurred on the Buriram-Khumueang road. A milk delivery truck was reported on fire near elderly residents' homes. Rescue teams from the Buriram unit quickly arrived at the scene, reported Siam Rath. Picture: Siam Rath Upon arrival, they discovered flames aggressively engulfing the truck's engine area. With swift action, the fire was controlled within 20 minutes. The vehicle, an Isuzu pickup with the license plate BNG 2998, had its engine compartment severely damaged by the fire. Fortunately, the rescue team's rapid response prevented the fire from spreading further. Picture: Siam Rath An eyewitness, Mongkol Somsai, 33, recalled seeing smoke billowing rapidly from the parked truck. He shouted warnings to the driver and called for help as the flames intensified. Picture: Siam Rath The truck's owner, "Boy" (assumed name), 40, a sour milk deliveryman, was delivering to customers in Khumueang. He observed a flicker near the truck's gas system and went to check the motor, but was greeted by an unexpected blaze. Fortunately, he emerged without injury. What ignited the fire is still a mystery. The acidity in sour milk can aid in tenderizing meats, giving a tangy flavor to baked goods, and even enhancing the taste of the beloved mac and cheese. https://thekitchencommunity.org/recipes-which-use-sour-milk/
PETERTHEEATER
I'm encouraged by the image of an umpire on scene presumbably controlling the two teams of firefighters.
