Yesterday, July 21, a popular Facebook page named "Drama-addict" posted alarming pictures of visible cracks on the boundary wall of the U-turn bridge at Rama 2 zone, reported INN.

The post mentioned, “A follower sent this, they noticed the damaged area. Requesting relevant authorities to check if the structure is safe. The location is the U-turn bridge in front of Waran Sawangchit school, opposite Central Rama 2 mall.”

It's almost a ground level crack.....not an overhead. Looks like a poor transition of levels on the ramp and likely been there for a long time

As usual, Thailand is "reactive" as opposed to "pro-active".

Only when a catastrophe occurs, things get fixed....

Bizarre comment. Exactly the opposite to what you claim occurred in this case, If you hadn't noticed, they are acting before an accident happens.

but only after being embarrassed on social media, if they're pro-active local authorities in charge should have noticed this and fixed it of their on volition

Contractors stealing the cement and diluting the mix down too much again? Tsk tsk.

Can asure you of your wrong assumption.

As others pointed out it is settlement/movement and crack in the parapets.

A slight settlement in the foundation shows wide crack in the bridge parapet although strange it did not appear in the expansion joint on the centre between the 2 spans.
