Thais concerned over financial problems, rising inflation – Ipsos survey

About 40% of Thai people are most concerned about their financial problems, spending, political uncertainty and corruption, according to a survey conducted in 30 countries by Ipsos, a market research company, called “What Worries the World – What Worries Thailand”.

 

39% of Thais are worried about poverty, inequality and social problems, while 29% are concerned about rising inflation,although the Bank of Thailand has announced that it will try to contain the inflation rate at no higher than 4%. 26% are worried about unemployment, due to the introduction of new technologies to replace humans, such as AI.

 

25% of Thais are also worried about violent crime.

 

These top five concerns of the Thai people are revealed in the opinion survey, taken among 6,000 people representing various groups who are over 18 during the past six months, according Usana Chantarklum, managing director of Ipsos Thailand.

Thais are concerned about nothing as they know they can't change anything...... never.... old rules and outdated laws, community with listening to higher ranked people without any comment if no agree, no helmets in traffic, etc etc... And their debt is the least they are worried about. They borrow from everybody and don't pay back and if you guarantee for someone you are the one who has to pay eventually.. They are not learnt how to use their money. Besides the wages are too low nowadays, and the riches are too rich and will keep people under control by low wages, fear, low education and own greed..Examples too many about the rich and their wealth in Thailand. We need to Move Forward

then stop taking out loans to pay for sheet you don't need. keeping up with the somchai's is quite expensive.

The elite are happy, screw the workers, sod the poor, the junta raped the country and now we will have another scandal.

Maybe the question was stated, what are you more worried about, violent crime or road death !
