Just a friendly aside. Back on topic, what does this tell you?

image.png.7c30f092bb14889775dc3b54ea2f4719.png

Find someone else to play games with. After calling you out your claim on 2023 weather "This year was no hotter than any others." with facts you respond with a personal off topic deflection instead of acknowledging your misinformation.

You are a self confessed flat earther "Flat-Earther and everything it entails." with your current conspiracy theory running in the lounge section of claiming the moon landings were fake

Its not surprising you are also a climate change denier. Science is not exactly wired into your beliefs.

If you've got something to add to the topic then do so, instead of asking me about unattributed out of context images of a weather girl, why not get right out there and say what you want to say about them?

Oops, the Stratosphere is cooling. Why is that?

Relatively constant compared to what?

How about the Apollo moon landings, were they are a hoax?

Is the Earth flat?

UFOs?

The Earth is relatively flat.

Why not just let it go? You're post is not adding anything of substance either.

What is lacking in substance here?

Do you really not know what he was showing with the two different weather graphics?

What I do not like about the mosquito, fire, immigration, homelessness etc. stories "blaming" global warming, is that it always seems like a cover for failed policies, programs or management.

Sure, they can blame everything on global warming and (apparently) you will eat it up, but a lot of people (flat-Earthers or otherwise) don't. They see it as incompetence hiding behind a hot-button issue.

The mosquitos are and have been moving north for a number of reasons, climate could well be one, but why is that the only reason they site?

They don't blame everything on Global warming and where do you get the notion I eat it all up? I look at the facts and evidence available not make believe like flat earthers.

What are the other reasons? This I have to say I am unaware of so very interested to know why.

So, you don't know. I thought it would be obvious to anyone not blinded by their ideology.

That said, it could be fake what with Photoshop and whatnot.

The article(s) said (I am paraphrasing) that the "experts" thought climate change was accelerating the move north, correct?

This would indicate they were already moving north, correct?

In any event, I don't know why they are moving north, but I agree that a changing climate could well be at least one of the reasons.

Loss/change of habitat could be another reason. Changing habitats in the north could be a reason. Introduction of a preditor in the south could be a reason. Resistance to pesticides could be a reason. Pollution could be a reason. I think an "expert" would be able to provide the other reasons, but the writer only needed one.

You link to the article and act is factual, yet it looks to be nothing but clickbait to me. That is where I get the idea that you "eat it all up". You claim that you "...look at the facts and evidence available not make believe like flat earthers." yet you seem to define any article you agree with as factual.

I always find it amazing that people who come off as amazingly intelligent and perceptive then at other times feign being dumb as rocks and incapable of understanding even the simplest things.  I just now showed the two images to my 11 year old daughter and she got the answer straight away.

Surely you can think that the earth is round, and at the same time, doubt that men ever went anywhere near the moon?

As for a flat earth! Not flat like a piece of paper. Maybe more like a discus, or even a giant doughnut. I'll settle for a spherical shape until the truth about the Antarctic is revealed.

Not meaning to step in on you, Yellowtail but I just want to let Bkk Brian know that he's proving the point I made in my previous post about feigning ignorance because he's claiming you didn't give any other reasons for the mosquito migration when I, as a third party, see that you did.

I am not referring to the images and refuse to, until the actual poster himself does who happens to be rattlesnake.

As for yellowtails claim which was:

It does not mention a number reasons in the article as to why, it only mentions it could be one, climate change so what are those other reasons, simple enough for you?

As for you, still waiting now and for the 4th time, why is the ozone layer hole now getting smaller?

But it is factual that as temperatures warm, mosquitos are moving north.

As the planet warms, mosquitoes are slowly migrating upward.

I will leave the other reasons to your speculation only, like I said I deal in facts and evidence only.

". . . like I said I deal in facts and evidence only."

Except when the facts and evidence say that I did ask you numerous times to answer the question of whether or not consensus equates to truth.  All of a sudden you had a memory lapse and when confronted with facts and evidence you denied the truth of it.

So we are now to take you on your word?  You must think we're all stupid here.   Zero credibility, my friend.  You've squandered it.

You needn't link.  I know where to find it.  You answered only after your denial of the truth was exposed.  Too little too late.

It's always good to get back on the topic of climate change

Yes I am a blasphemer of the science cult.

I trust my senses and thermometer, and therefore stand by my comment that this year was not hotter than any others, which was not addressed to you.

"I trust my senses and thermometer"....lol so your belief based on your senses and local thermometer brings to to the assertion that:

"This year was no hotter than any others."

Yes it was addressed by me but as you say science is not your thing.

Combined with the El Niño, 2023 is now more likely than not to be the warmest year on record. The sea has also hit record temperatures and already broken records despite not being the end of the year yet.

Global air and ocean temperatures reach new record highs
