They are getting into bed with anyone who will join them to get the win. Disgusting. This is not what the people want.

What the people want has never been a consideration.

If the people really want something, they have to force it.

Else, they get the leadership they so richly deserve.

(1/2) Phalang Pracharath Party leader Gen Prawit Wongsuwan may hold a cabinet portfolio if the party joins the Pheu Thai-led coalition, said Phalang Pracharath Party deputy leader Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn on Saturday.

(2/2) The remark came after rumours spread on Friday that it would be Prawit's younger brother, Pol Gen Patcharawat Wongsuwan, who will be a deputy PM if the party joins Pheu Thai coalition.

This is a China Unity government. China now owns this country lock, stock, and barrel. Whatever was waiting to be picked over and decided on all has been gobbled up. From Thaksin to Anutin to Prawit, they're sons of China.

Pita Chinese surname is Lim and Thanathorn ancestors are in Fujian. Why the paranoid about Chinese DNA? None of those you mentioned can even speak Mandarin. Overreaction?

It is quite amusing seeing the posts about Thaksin from the usual obsessives, fretting that he will be coming back.

He's on the way back and all past transgressions will be somewhat forgiven if his political party toes the line.

The only reason anyone would consider granting amnesty is to avoid social disorder. You know, shootings, blowing stuff up, burning down Bangkok. Now that Thaksin has completely trashed his already dwindling support, he has become irrelevant. Who would really want to forgive him, why would anyone loose face to help him return?

Remember the Thai golden rule, "I can go along with all your lies, and smile, as long as I don't lose face."

I wasn't referring to their ancestry but their political orientation. This conspiracy/unity government was put together, apparently, in Hong Kong. Knowing what is at stake in Thailand, not to mention Myanmar, which will now find yet another Thai government condoning and supporting the Myanmar military's dictatorship, it's clear that the tilt to China and Russia has now become an all out hard turn.
