Probably part of the Government influenced media initiative to label as many negative situations on cannabis in addition to anything else

Sure: it's a conspiracy..... watch out for that paranoia!

Weed doesn't cause this kind of thing. In fact the opposite is true. Drunkenness does.

Yes, I do wish that people were "educated" as to the different effects of marijuana and alcohol! He may however have been on "yaba" which can cause such erratic behaviour.

Anyway,"Chonburi — An Australian tourist, reported by some Thai media to allegedly be under the influence of cannabis,......" You would think that "some Thai media"  would know the difference, and to report it as such, they must surely have some kind of evidence to justify their claims? Or maybe one of the locals/monks said "I think he was under the influence of cannabis"?

This has reverberations for all of us expats. It must not be easy for our hosts, The Thais, to see this in the same amusing way as we might see it.

Consider how we would feel if foreigners behaved the same way in our country.

They do.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8853059/Shocking-moment-man-tries-TEAR-cross-roof-church-east-London.html
