On August 16th, 2023, a Cambodian couple was injured when their motorcycle collided with a dog in rural Rayong, Thailand. Captain Anupong Phuangpi, the officer on duty, responded to the scene after receiving a distress call from local volunteers.

Upon arrival, they found a black Honda Wave 110 motorcycle with license plate 2กจ 8090 lying in the middle of the road. The couple, Lam Da (44 years old) and Plian Ham (43 years old), both Cambodian nationals, were injured. Lam Da sustained injuries to his head, face, and right arm, while Plian Ham suffered facial injuries and an open toe wound on her right foot, reported Siam Rath.

Prior to the accident, the couple had left their residence in Ban Nern Somboon and were en route to work at a durian orchard in Khao Chamao, Rayong. Approaching the location of the incident, an unforeseen occurrence took place: a brown dog swiftly crossed the road's path, resulting in a collision that led to their vehicle crashing into the animal.
