Popular Post webfact
We all should have been celebrating. The celebration should have started the night of the election when the Democratic Alliance, led by the Move Forward Party, claimed victory. I still vividly remember that night’s energy—people thronging the streets, social media posts celebrating progress’s triumph over fear and intimidation, and even my friends marveling at how the Move Forward Party had achieved the impossible. However, in post-junta Thailand, where barriers to progress have been strategically erected, we all held our breath. We were acutely aware that those in power weren’t keen on letting go. Subsequently, we were hit with setbacks: the Move Forward Party losing the Speaker of the House, Pita Limjaroenrat’s lawsuit and subsequent suspension from parliament, and now, despite winning the popular vote, the democratically-elected party won’t be forming the government. by Juwee Vorawandthanachai Full story: https://www.thaienquirer.com/50451/a-long-road-ahead-for-thailand/ -- THAI ENQUIRER 2023-08-18 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post ikke1959
As long as a few people can control the mass nothing will change.. It is ridiculous that 250 senators are in the way for moving forward. Only 250 senators against millions of votes for change.. and see what is happening the army will be the winner again, although they lost. Thai Government dare to speak about democracy, but they have no clue what that is.. Democracy in their eyes we say what you do, but that is dictatorship, a totalitair regime, no room for changes unless they approve it.. Look at the old law of section 112. In all kingdoms all over the world they have changed a similar kind of law, just to go forward. Ridiculous that some one get a jail sentence that is worse than killing some one because violating section 112. Or that young kids are being held in prison because they have an opinion .. You can wonder in what kind of country we live in. Surely not a democracy 10 3

Popular Post spidermike007
No change will ever take place without the people taking decisive action. The fake army senators need to be declared enemies of the state. They are essentially committing treason, at this point. A list of their names and photos needs to be circulated. The people need to call them and their children, siblings, and parents out at work, at school, at restaurants, and in public. Shame them into submission. Embarrass them to no end. Make them conscious of the incredible amount of damage and erosion to democracy they are causing, and let Cha Cha know we are not buying his "I will be cooperative, and honor the results" nonsense. If these illigitimate clowns don't act like adults and cooperate, all bets are off. Their health, safety and welfare could be in jeopardy. The people will not tolerate it. Make their lives so uncomfortable they quit a year early. It just might work. Weak, pathetic, cowardly, self entitled hooligans, who are accustomed to a perch atop the ivory tower, scared to death of being taken down a notch, and being asked to be accountable for their heinous and unforgivable actions. Of course they will resort to whatever dirty tactics they can. That is who and what they are. Filth. They are the deplorables. These lowlifes have been bullying the Thai people for many years now. Guess they never expected the favor to be returned. They all assume they are "above it all". Mightier than the masses. Too rich to touch. Well, perhaps things are about to change. Perhaps your lives are about to take a turn for the worse, and you and your families are going to be subject to intense harassment for the cowardly and highly dishonorable positions you accepted. After all, the fortune comes at some cost, right? Granted, Pita should have been smart enough to divest this stock, before running for PM. But, we all know the disqualification was a sham, an act of desperation, a power grab, an act of spectacularly, morally bankrupt power mongering men, and a total travesty. The army is far too powerful here, he knows that, and reform is needed. The sooner the better. bannork
The claim by PT leaders that the jumping into bed with the uncles was necessary for public reconciliation, to let the country unite and move forward is logic truly full of holes. To achieve this, you kicked out the true move forwards, all 14 million of them! A nation united, indeed!

It would be nice if the action in your first paragraph could happen, but it illustrates nicely why the ridiculous defamation laws are in place…… exactly to prevent people like this being called out. They well protected by the state. Deliberately.
