Oatmeal with banana and soymilk. Scrambled eggs, 12 grain toast with Dalfour's Fig jelly. Coffee.

Used up n slice of pork loin from the freezer and an old potato to make this up. Was starving after a longer morning jog than normal. Hit the spot.

Yep, almost got the Ore Ida, but didn't see the point, as 159 for 1 kg, and actually like the other other ones better. Glad I spotted them out of corner of my eye. OK in the air fryer, with bit of oil sprayed on them, but better shallow or deep fried.

Tried the ARO (copy Ore Ida/FarmFrittes) triangle hash browns & Tater Tots, and not made by Ore Ida or FF. Wouldn't recommend either.

Back home, and back to the same rotating boring, healthy brekkies 🤣

Eggs & some other protein. Did throw in slice of leftover pepperoni pizza, afterwards. Not too unhealthy, tomato, cheese, a bit more meat & fat, to balance out the carb pizza dough, and last thing eaten.

It's great that on the Forum lineup is black water diarrhea and vomit followed by what did you have for breakfast? Hopefully not what that guy had !!🤣

Oh black water keep on rolling Mississippi moon keep shining on 🤪

Another boring, but tasty brekkie ..

Need to switch things up, and saw a vid posted today, of Brekkie Burrito, although, looking at the build (minus ovocado), not different that would I've had for brekkie at times, just wrapped in a tortilla. Did have an easy enough Chorizo recipe in it though. As 1000 THB for Chorizo salami, which we always have on hand, is a bit silly, when pork is <200 a kg.

The gluttony hotel breakfast spread buffets are great to gobble...but lethal for health. Fried eggs, bacon, sausage, ham on the side, butter all over the toast, coffee, cheese, fried potatoes... and not to forget the highly sugary muffins, buns...all that will make the undertaker applause and approve.

The nice buffets will have made to order omelets, a nice salad bar, good coffee. Love the butter and good cheese on rolls.

Not the worst brekkie served at inexpensive guesthouse, all of 800 THB. Very comfy bed & pet friendy the priorities, along with killer views.

Try the Red Curry Aussie Beef.

Rice Krispies. I realize that this isn't the healthiest breakfast, but I hadn't had any in about five years. I saw these at Big C and had to buy some.

When we went to the US this past July, we got a jumbo box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

One of my 'go to' cereals. Along with shredded wheat. Unhealthy vs healthy.

Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, that is an advertising scam created by Kelloggs to get everyone to eat cereal long ago.

If you research breakfast from long ago, people ate protien heavy stuff because their jobs were so physically demanding... hence the steak and eggs meal in the morning because you knew the day was tough and neede energy. You no longer need this breakfast nonsense from the corporate marketing BS... better to just skip it and have lunch and dinner because people don't do the pyshical work they used to have to do.

The human body has not evolved to eat 3 times a day with snacks and sugary drinks and treats inbetween... that is nonsense.

For most of our evolution, we were lucky to eat one meal a day, and if not, then one meal every two or three days and out bodies are used to that, not this sugary overload as sugar has been absent from out diets for thousands of years until just recently. Ditch the sugar folks.

Realistically you do not need protein heavy food for hard work. Protein itself will not give you energy, you need carbohydrates for that. You will need protein rich food for to build muscle after heavy exercise. A balanced diet is the key.

I like 200 grams of wild caught salmon, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 hardboiled egg, 1 avocado, 1/4 cup of quinoa, 1/4 teaspoon of salt a1 teaspoon of black peppercorns and a half cup of water.

Add the water, oil, salt, pepper and quinoa to the blender and puree. Add salmon, oil, egg and avocado and blend until smooth.

Sounds good but is it not rather expensive for a breakfast?

Compared to what?

Compared to a breakfast without salmon and avocado. At least the salmon does not sound like a typical breakfast someone will eat on a regular basis. More once in a while I guess. Or do you live in Alaska and catch the salmon yourself?

I have salmon quite often for breakfast. Less expensive than beef tenderloin which I have often also.

TGM sausages or ham steaks aren't exactly inexpensive either.
