ventilated car seats

do the seats in your car have ventilation? on a hot day, after just a short ride with my current car,

i already have a damp back!

 

in a country like thailand, having ventilated seats would be a nice thing. relying on blasting 

the aircon at a very low temperature, which leaves everyone feeling chilly and uncomfortable,

is not a very good solution ...

 

when you're purchasing a premium car (2 million baht or more), would you expect 

having also ventilated (front) seats?

I've got a cheap Suzuki Celerio and I've never experience that problem.  Not "ventilated" as far as I know.  Up until two minutes ago, I'd never heard of "ventilated seats."

most premium cars today are equipped with ventilated or air-conditioned seats, as well as heated features.

Both my CH made EV and PHEV have ventilated (air con) front seats for both driver and front passenger. EV costs under 900k and ventilates both bottom and back.
 

As stated many times before, China makes the best value cars in the world today.

Most premium cars do not have them and I agree they are very nice to have.

So you as the driver is the only one getting a hot/damp back?  Perhaps you should check the material your shirt (if any) is made of?

i drive a 2018 Nissan almera, cloth seats, 2016 Mitsubishi triton, cloth seats 2022 Mg zs leather seats, none of which give me a sweaty back

Perhaps not available in Thailand but there are lots of companies fitting AC seats as an aftermarket extra. Prices per seat range from 4,000 us for fully ACed to 750 us for a series of computer type fans mounted under the seat cushion.

In Singapore most taxi driver use or used to use these or similar.
