I'm a Brit and I can assure you that many cannot hold their booze and become downright obnoxious after a few. When they get to a free and easy place like Thailand they completely lose it.

 

A very intelligent and well-educated guy I worked with many years ago explained that you can reason with the vast majority of people that are mis-behaving, but there are a few that only understand one thing, and that is a smack in the mouth!

Doesn't say what time they actually BOUGHT the alcohol! In the UK, they ring a bell for last orders (Not to get the drink in for everybody at the bar!) and a few people "stock up" their drinks. Maybe the Thais did the same? Not excusing their behaviour mind - or the Brit's for that matter!

Just another Brit that gets a beating. Must be the combination of arrogance and alcohol. Seems like this guy really deserved it, like a lot of others. According to my estimations, it´s about 75% of these cases that includes a Brit. Maybe time to stay home and practice the skills as football hooligans instead.
